The Block Party Berlin event series closes the year 2022 with a Block Party Culture Festival. After they were able to get Slum Village, among others, to play their only concert in Germany this year, and brought a piece of German rap history to the stage with Creutzfeld & Jakob, they’re going even one better at the end.
Hip-hop as a matter of the heart
For the Block Party Culture Festival, none other than Pete Rock has will show around. The king of the cultivated boom-bap beat will be at the Gretchen Club in Berlin on December 9, 2022, as will his resident copycats Suff Daddy and Figub Brazlevič. The line-up is rounded off by Diskohengst (known as Shacke One), Femdelic and Boogie Dan on the decks.
Sounds to us like a perfect evening for all those for whom hip-hop is a matter of the heart. And those who simply like to party.
