Jean-Christophe Le Saoût describes himself as a »craftsman on the edge of the music industry«. He was the founder of the French rap group La Formule. In 2005, he released »Tales of the Forgotten Melodies«, his debut as a beat producer. The record landed in the music charts in France and sold over 50,000 copies. Since then, six albums have been released on his label Lab’Oratoire. Wax Tailor frequently works with feature guests, including Ghostface Killah, Tricky and Aloe Blacc.
