On Saturday, 28 February, Carhartt WIP hosts the global premiere of Audio Archives at NBB Gallery, Karl-Marx-Allee 75, Berlin. From 2pm to 10pm, Flo Dill (NTS Radio), ML (Carhartt WIP Radio), Nico Adomako (Oroko Radio), Hermeneia (Radio Lola), Leona (Refuge Worldwide), Sarah San (Kiosk Radio) and Eleftheria (Noods Radio) will play DJ sets – streamed live, with free admission. HHV will be present as a partner.
One person, one microphone, one hour
Audio Archives is more than an anniversary project: 15 years of Carhartt WIP Radio, 17 independent stations from around the world, embodied in a fashion collection and documented across 1,200 printed pages. Independent radio remains the last medium yet to be optimised – no algorithm, no engagement rate, no A/B testing. One person, one microphone, one hour. Stations such as Kiosk, Oroko Radio or Refuge Worldwide: locally rooted, globally heard, funded by listeners who consciously decide where their attention goes. No nostalgia. An argument. On Saturday at NBB Gallery, it can be experienced live.
